Capitalizing on my extensive 23 years of experience as an Asylum Officer with USCIS (and previously INS) I will conduct complete and thorough mock interviews for asylum applicants prior to their actual affirmative interview at their respective USCIS Asylum Office.  Since this  interview is a one-time opportunity for asylum seekers to present their case in front of an Asylum Officer, it is essential that these 

applicants are sufficiently prepared. 

The mock interviews that I conduct will provide the applicants with the confidence they will need in presenting the important facts of their individual claims.  In addition, the applicant's immigration attorney or accredited representative will be assured that the applicant is familiar with the  details and nuances of the mock interview.  

As an experienced and well-trained former Asylum Officer, I am able to conduct these mock interviews in-person or via Zoom. As a result of COVID-19, the Zoom platform has become a household name and user-friendly platform for virtual meetings and people-to- people connections worldwide.  If the asylum seeker does not speak English fluently, then he or she will need to be accompanied by an interpreter.
